To be Free
With the aid of coffee and electronic music, Friday night I decided to pull an all-nighter to paint until my newest painting ‘Free’ was completed. At exactly 3:57am, exhausted and buzzing from having not slept in over 24 hours, the painting I started over one year ago was finally finished – just in time to make it on Fabio Sasso’s internationally known website Abduzeedo.com! Woooot!

Ah…. I remember you in that bathing suit Tara! Like you, I often remember you with your bare feet on the dash of the old Buick, on our way for a swim at the Aunor Lake.
Your young lady in the painting really does make me think of happy times… feeling free and how much we enjoy swimming. I really like your use of color in all your paintings.. which just get better and better! This one too is fantastic! You did a great job with the water splashing! I’m so proud of you and all your talent… giving inspiration to others. I too should be putting in time with creativity and thanks to you.. for we all could use a reminder once in a while.
