Such a pretty and fun concept! This little do it yourself art project could be a fun way to add some color into your home and for very little cost. If any of you readers out there decide to paint your own driftwood (or any old hunk-o-wood such as a old door, window frame, table top, etc) send me some of your photos! I would love to share them :)

The official video for She and Him’s latest single titled ‘Thieves’ was only just uploaded last week. I absolutely adore this song and the video is cute too. ‘Thieves’ is perfect listening to compliment a mid-summer lazy afternoon. Enjoy!
Life is meant to be shared – the most beautiful of memories are usually those which are shared among loved ones.
I find myself oddly drawn into the artwork of Australian Illustrator Kareena Zerefos. Her work is delicate, beautiful and refreshing. They take me back to childhood memories of story rhymes, coloring books and daydreaming.
‘Kareena’s work evokes a delicate balance between isolation and companionship, as well as yearning and delight in long lost moments of escape to the whimsical world of make believe.’
I adore these photos taken by photographer Jason Lee Parry. This photo shoot reminds me of the old six foot tall denim ads my father used to have posted up around the house back in the 80’s. Those were some pretty sweet posters and I wish I could get my hands on them today!

I have a sneaking suspicion that I wont be the only one who is amused, so I have decided to share it.
I absolutely adore these photographs by Swedish photographer Kalle Gustafsson!
They bring me back to summer vacations spent running barefoot in the tall grass and daydreaming under the starry night sky.
I miss those lazy summers. Lying around outdoors and basking in the summer sun. Road trips with the family, good times spent out on the lake, swimming and boating for hours on end. Roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on the campfire and listening to the sound of crickets and the loon out on the lake. Those moments were truly priceless and I hope to revisit them again one day.
